Annabelle Adams – Treatment and Insurance Coordinator

Annabelle grew up at Lake Cherokee and graduated from Trinity School of Texas.  After high school, she moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with her major in Marketing.

Annabelle joined our team in December of 2017.  With her background in business and marketing and eagerness to learn, she fit right in.  She will work her hardest to assist you on any financial, treatment, or insurance needs.  She is known as the insurance “pit bull” from time to time to help with any insurance discrepancies for our patients!

Annabelle enjoys being around any body of water, loving on her two pups Chico and Pablo, traveling, yoga, spending time with her boyfriend Travis, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints.

The best thing about working here is making a personal connection with the patients, their families, and coworkers.  Everyone becomes family.  She also loves watching her sister, Dr. Megan, in action and getting to see the smile on the patient’s face once she has completed their treatment.

Stephanie Terry – Hygiene Coordinator

Stephanie is the newest addition to our team, becoming part of the “crew” in June of 2018. She is a 2012 graduate of Kilgore High School and has grown up in Kilgore.  Stephanie married her husband Brandon in October 2017.  Together, they have two little boys, Cooper and Coleson.  In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and being at the lake or anywhere outdoors.  Stephanie’s favorite part about working here is the connection we all have as a team.  She also enjoys building relationships with the patients, and seeing them leave with a smile.

Laurie Coldiron – Certified Dental Assistant

Laurie brings a wealth of experience to Dr. Megan Hamner’s practice, as well a passion for her work and the patients she gets to meet while doing her job.  A 27-year veteran of the dental industry, Laurie began her career at a Baylor office in Dallas, focusing on general dentistry.  When her boss at the time, Dr. Richard Roblee, decided to go back to school to become an orthodontist, Laurie found what would become her home for the next 21 years.  Working chairside for Drs. Greg and Teresa Farr in Garland, Laurie honed her craft and innate talent and spent the next two decades as an indispensable member of the Farr team.

When Laurie returned to Kilgore in 2009 with her two sons, Cody and Cooper, and their Yellow Lab, Cate, Laurie knew it was her destiny to work for Dr. Hamner. She sent Dr. Hamner her resume but at the time there were no openings.  With a positive and hopeful attitude, Laurie enjoyed a short tenure at a dental office in Gladewater….until the call came.  An opening had become available at Dr. Hamner’s office and both dentist and assistant knew it was the perfect fit.  As Laurie has said often about her joining her dream team, it has definitely been worth the wait!

Laurie was raised in Kilgore, and graduated from KHS in 1981.  She lived in Rowlett for 27 years before returning to her roots, where she now spends her days making new friends and reconnecting with old ones.

Jamie Murray – Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie began her dental career in 1979 as a Certified Dental Assistant before deciding to further her education at Tyler Jr College. She graduated in 1986 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Her experience includes two years in a fast paced orthodontic practice and seven years as a temp in several general and periodontal practices in the Longview area. Jamie started working in our family practice in January 1995 for Dr. Robert Baker who retired in August of 2008 when Dr. Megan bought the practice. Jamie and her husband Randy have been married since 1985 and have two grown children, Caitlin Kropchuk and Jacob Murray. Jamie and Randy love spending time with their grandchildren, Timothy and Caroline. Jamie’s favorite past-time other than enjoying time with family and friends is the time she spends volunteering with her therapy dogs serving the East Texas communities through Hospice of East Texas, Silver Paws, and Therapet AAT/AAI groups. Her favorite part of patient care revolves around building trust and relationships with her patients and being part of a team that cares for patients through education and working together to restore them to optimal dental health.

Mary Jo Cayce – Registered Dental Hygienist

Mary Jo attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello for three years before graduating in 1987 from Tyler Jr. College with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in Kilgore for 22 years, with 21 of those spent at this family practice. Mary Jo and her husband of 24 years, Gerald, have four children. The eldest daughter Kelsey attends Kilgore College, while Trent, Shelby and Rowdy attend Kilgore schools. She has volunteered in many capacities in school and church activities. Mary Jo loves the personal relationships she has formed with so many of our patients through the years. Her goal is to provide excellent care to all patients and is always ready to catch up on what has been going on since their last visit.
